Österby Gjuteri aims to be the world’s leading supplier of manufacturing of complex castings in short series. In order to achieve this high competence in material science, casting technique, casting simulations and machining is needed.

Together with the Swedish Foundry Association, RISE and other Swedish foundries several research projects within material science, casting techniques and virtual science as computer simulations and calculations are conducted. We are also involved in research projects together with universities.

Österby Gjuteri is continuously striving for becoming more efficient and to improve productivity. Therefore collaboration with suppliers of casting equipment, such as Ask Chemicals, Foseco and Beijer Industries, and suppliers of cutting tools and CAD/CAM-programs, such as Sandvik Coromant, SECO and AME AB, is very important.

We are also represented as a supplier within Big Science, Swedish Guide, an organization that helps Swedish companies to collaboration and businesses with the research facilities in Europe.
